Illinois loses to Michigan State- Ayo Dosunmu injured

Illinois lost a tough game at home to Michigan State tonight 70-69. Michigan State scored on a dunk with about 6 seconds left. Then with no timeouts, Illinois' leading scorer Ayo Dosunmu drove the ball back down the court for one final attempt for the win. But he slipped and fell awkwardly and appeared to twist his left knee in a bad way. He was helped off the court to the locker room. I hope he is OK, but it did not look good-

That did not look good. I expect he tore at least something in he knee, by the way he couldn't even put pressure on it. Bad news for the Illini.

There has not been any information released yet about the apparent knee injury. I suspect Dosunmu is getting or has already gotten an MRI study today, and we should hear something from Illinois.
