Indiana State beats Loyola 68-39 to improve to 7-4. Loyola drops to 7-4. This is the lowest scoring output by far for Loyola this season. They shot just 32.6% and were outrebounded 36-21 by the Sycamores-

Well that would certainly qualify as a shocker. They were 3-19 from 3 and only shot 11 FT’S. ISU Blue shot 28-51 from the field, 9-18 from 3. Loyola was down 24-21 with 6:44 left. The next time they scored was with 2 FT’S with :05 left. During those 6 + minutes the Sycamores scored 19 straight points. Loyola had a 7 + minute scoring drought in the 2nd half as well. I hope that’s the Loyola team that shows up in Peoria at the end of the month.Comment

Evansville almost got their first MVC win tonight in their home game against SIU. They went to overtime tied 54-54, but lost in the final seconds 64-60.
SIU improves to 8-3, Evansville drops to 0-11.
