I've heard that -- since tonight's game is in Iowa -- scoreboard operators, broadcasters, and all media won't be able to report the score for at least two days. And then only through the first three quarters.

How can we shoot this poorly? Don’t they do this every day?

Just like last year, the refs at Drake don't like us. But we are just playing terrible so it doesn't matter much.

I for one was not expecting such a regression from Brown in his senior season. It’s hard to watch sometimes.

I hate to say it, but I agree. From 1st team MVC to can’t make a bucket on the road. And his effort on D in the 1st half was terrible (like the whole team).

Brown was not the problem tonight. Our bigs let us down. Between Boya and Bar only 2 points, 0 rebounds, and 8 fouls. That is just horrible. While Robbins had 29 points and 7 rebounds. We play well until we go against teams with a true center who can tear us up inside, especially with Childs out. Good job by Henry doing everything he could going up against a guy at least 6 inches taller than him, which caused him to foul out. We've had two bad games on the road, time to recover and beat Evansville at home.

Bradley shot poorly, turned the ball over too much, and they were seriously afflicted by foul trouble. Plus our big men had no answer for Liam Robbins.
There does seem to be regression, but it isn't all on Darrel Brown. Our entire offense struggles, and rarely gets open shots. And we have been showing more weakness in defending the paint the last several games.
Darrel Brown ended with 24 points, and Ja'Shon Henry had a double double (12 points & 11 rebounds) before he fouled out with a couple really questionable calls. No one had more than 1 assist. Koch Bar had ZERO rebounds and 2 points. Danya Kingsby was MIA with 1-7 shooting, 3 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist.
Plus Bradley got little from the bench, a total of 8 points, 6 of them by Ville Tahvanainen.

Nobody said this loss was on Brown. The comment was on how much he’s regressed since making 1st team MVC last year to what he’s shown this year.
You can blame the whole team tonight. They played terrible.

I stopped watching at the under 16 media in the 2nd half. No offense at all. Losing men on defense. Kennel is ice cold. Boya and Bar got worked all night by Robbins. Missing FTs again. Henry played his heart out. Wish he wasn’t the only one. On to Evansville. We need to get this turned around quickly!

Wow! This was painful to watch! I don’t know what has happened to this team.No offense, no defense and total lack of leadership from our seniors.Hopefully we can figure this out quick

Sorry I thought you were referring to this game. I do agree with you though, he has not been having the type of season we had all hoped for. Yeah by the numbers he has been doing about average, besides his shooting percentage, but something just seems off with him. I think sometimes we just really lack a leader on the court and a lot of us hoped Brown would step up his senior year but he hasn't. Childs has been the leader and I think we've missed that a lot since he has been out.

How can we run an offense where no one ever gets open? We picked up more moving screen fouls than we did open looks off those screens. Meanwhile, Drake is getting wide open looks off of passing alone. We have zero offensive threat right now other than shooting 3s and every team has figured that out. At least Darrell finally hit some shots, albeit when we were down by 20.

Any word on why Ari started over Koch?

This was indeed painful. I had to go to my Aunt's house to watch it, since my cable carrier doesn't carry Fox Sports Midwest. (I'm making a Braves fan out of her at age 89.) I should have stayed home and just listened to it on the radio. Henry was the only bright spot. Most of DB's stats came long after the game was decided. As others pointed out, our bigs do well when the other team is short.

I think Evansville could have gotten their first win against us tonight.

One game closer to Elijah being back, whenever that might be.
