Tough loss with a short handed team.
On the bright side:
Boya looked like a 7 footer out there today and played like a guy that would be recruited by the big boys. If he can build on this game and provide the kind of rebounding (and scoring!) that he did today, we'll be that much stronger come tournament time.
Still think the playing time everyone is getting because of the injuries we've had to deal with can only help us come tourney time assuming we're all healthy by then.
Still would have been nice to get a win here with such a short handed squad, but even just playing as competitively as we did is a real testament to Wardle.Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

It was too much to overcome for the Braves. And the officiating didn't help.

I’m not too sure what I’m more amazed by. The fact that we went on the road without our 2 best players, Ville can’t play because he’s sick and we play a walk on for 14 minutes and we get down
10-0 and actually have a chance to win or that Dr Jeckyl showed up again from the FT line and probably helped us in losing this game. So very proud of the efforts from everyone today. Guys get plenty of rest, drink plenty of fluids and recharge you batteries and take care of Valpo on Wednesday.

All that being said, you can't control the refs, but you can control free throw shooting. That aspect of our game has got to get more consistent.Larry Bird
