  • Final score: Bradley 75 ISU 63

Bradley's next game is Wednesday, January 22, 7:00 pm at home vs. Illinois State.
Beside the usual attraction of this classic rivalry, there are a couple other terrific promotions on that day-

Special Hall of Fame Game Day Luncheon- The Bradley Braves Club is sponsoring a Game Day Luncheon on Wednesday, January 22 at the Renaissance Coliseum. It features guest speaker and former Bradley Head Coach, and new Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame member Jim Molinari. Jim is a tremendous and funny speaker, and the events that day are a celebration of Jim Molinari's induction into the Bradley Hall of Fame, which will take place officially at halftime of the game Wednesday night (the rest of the 2020 HOF class will be inducted at the Feb. 8 game).
The Game Day Luncheon will take place at the Renaissance Coliseum Basketball Performance Court with doors opening at 11:15 a.m., lunch service beginning at 11:30 and the speaking program featuring Bradley Athletics Hall of Famer Jim Molinari will begin at 12:00 noon. Tickets are $20 for Braves Club members, $25 for the general public, and may be reserved in advance by contacting Breanna Cross in the Braves Club Office at (309) 677-2667 or via email at bcross@bradley.edu. A few tickets are still available!

Pregame: Jim Cornelison, known for singing the national anthem at Chicago Blackhawks games and many other professional and college events, will sing the national anthem prior to the I-74 rivalry. If you have never heard Jim sing the anthem, you need to come to this game and hear him!

And at Halftime: Official induction ceremony for former Bradley Head Coach Jim Molinari into the 2020 Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame.

    Other promotions:

Need to hit them with the 1-2 punch early. Show our dominance and not let up! Wonder how I really feel about them?

      I think I can guess.

Bradley is 66-62 all time vs. Illinois State, including a 44-21 record on Bradley's home court.
And Bradley has won the last 3 games. Let's keep that win steak going!

Dang. Doesn't that figure. I can't make it to the game at start time. I will be lucky to get there by half time. I always wanted to hear Cornelison live, just not bad enough to go to a Blackhawks game. I thought he was supposed to sing at the NI game, but assume bad roads kept him from coming. Oh well. If he's a big hit maybe we'll have him back.

Make sure you arrive early tomorrow. The Book of Mormon opens at the theater tomorrow. Parking may be tight and allow time to get through the security. There should be a good crowd for this game

Coach MO!!! My favorite BU head coach ever! (Though Wardle is becoming one of my faves)
Would be nice to be there in person to see this induction.

            Go BRAVES!

DB is out. 7 players. If "I Screwed Up" can't win tonight they should fold up shop.

Dave Reynolds tweeted that DB has a quad injury (sustained against Missouri State) that hasn't improved. So he apparently played against Northern Iowa with the injury. If the refs call a close game, we might have to forfeit if we run out of players. Unreal. Illinois State message board pretty psyched.

I'm hearing it's a quad injury suffered in game at Missouri State. That means he must have played with it against UNI.
