That's what we were all thinking a few minutes ago, but we might have spoken a bit too soon.
Bradley makes a terrific comeback with Childs on the bench, and Brown having another terrible shooting game (just 2 for 15). Some clutch shots by super-freshman Ville Tahvanainen and "Mr. Three" Nate Kennell and BU surged back into the lead and held on for a 91-78 win!!!

Man, that was a lot of 3 pointers from both ends of the courts, and thank goodness Cook and West cooled in the end, but that was bound to happen eventually.

The announcers on ESPN+ were great and easily the best I've heard for road games to date. They were very complimentary of the Braves throughout and it wasn't the usual homer game calling you hear, so that was refreshing. I'd listen to those guys call a game any time!

Great win and Henry with 13 boards and 17 points is really turning into an absolute stud. I'm not sure how you cut his minutes when Childs comes back, so that will present a good problem for Coach Wardle later in the season.

We're starting to win on the road, and if D. Brown ever figures out his O game on the road, we are going to be near unstoppable! This team is for real, boys!

We lost last year at Missouri State 55-37... this year we drop 91 on them in their house. Without Childs.

Ja'Shon was tremendous, especially down the stretch in the 2nd half. He finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds despite going up against their big guys 6'8", 6'9" and 6'9". The radio guys gave the Player of the Game to Nate Kennell, and I can't disagree. Nate had 25 points. But Ja'Shon is the Co-Player of the Game in my opinion. He was a stud!

Coach Wardle just said on his post-game show that this was probably the best game Missouri State has played all year, and Bradley was still good enough to beat them on their home court. A terrific team effort. Ville & Kennell were a combined 10-14 from three. Henry was 3-5 from three, and Kingsby was 2-3 from three. Koch Bar just missed a double-double with 11 points & 9 rebounds, and he played 32 minutes with only 3 fouls and NO turnovers!

So Bradley is 4-1 in the MVC and has 2 of the toughest road games behind them now.

Wow! What a terrific win. Down 10 we outscored them by 23 points to win by 13. This team is so mentally tough and very well coached.

Koch Bar was credited with 2 blocks tonight. But did anyone else think he had 3 or 4 at least? He altered a bunch of shots inside.

And, Tulio Da Silva was preseason 1st team All-MVC and was just edged out by Krutwig for Preseason Player of the Year. But he did not look good tonight. He was 0-2 from the floor in 24 minutes, and only 4 points on free throws. He had only 3 rebounds and looked slow and afraid to go inside. I wonder if he's hurt, but he sure doesn't look like the same player he was last year.

Wow! What a game! Did anyone else besides me think this game was about over at the 10 minute mark? Up 16 then down 10. Huge win on the road! This team has been showing so much perseverance all year long. I also totally agree with what Tommy said about Henry’s minutes when Elijah gets back. How does the guy not start alongside Elijah? He is a total beast inside.

I cannot believe we just took this road game. That had every look of a loss for 15 of 20 min in the second half. That really shows me something that we turned the tide back and took it away. Hats off to the senior leaders, to Wardle, and to the supporting cast. Only real negative I saw: for the love of all things, Koch & Ari when you catch a dump-off pass one foot from the basket DO NOT LAY THE BALL UP. SLAM IT DOWN, BIG MAN!

Where do you start? Just a fantastic effort in the 1st 19 minutes on both ends of the court as we led by 16 but halves are 20 minutes and the Bears made 2 3's to grab some momentum goin into halftime. The next 10 1/2 minutes we couldn't hit the broad side of the barn and they couldn't miss it in a thimble as the Bears outscored us 27-7 to go up 68-58. Game over right? NOPE. NOT THIS TEAM. How about a 33-10 run, making 7 of our last 9 3 point shots and making all 6 FT attempts to end the game. Incredible. This team just keeps showing true grit and heart. This team deserves our support. It's time to reward them for that kind of effort. I don't expect a full house but come on Peoria. Let's have our biggest crowd of the year on Saturday.

I agree 100%! Great team effort again. Hopefully the Bradley Marketing folks, the local TV & radio stations and our local newspapers will increase their communications about both Bradley basketball teams. This is the hardest working team I've had the pleasure of watching in recent memory. The team has done their part to earn our support! I look forward to a seeing much a larger crowd Saturday cheering on OUR BRADLEY BRAVES!!
