As a hopeful and die-hard fan, I definitely still believe we can have a special year. Exhibit one is last year. From 0-5 to Selection Sunday Party and kissing trophies.

This injury does potentially, however, change the nature and trajectory of that opportunity toward again more of a late season surge vs a regular season favorite. Prove me wrong Braves, and win the regular season anyway. It can be done.

Eli’s on-court leadership will be missed as much or more than his physical contributions. .. especially on the Valley road. The extent to which that gets replaced will determine the outcome. GO BRAVES
    Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

As everyone else - I literally gasped when I read "Childs to have surgery on re-injured hand" posted by BUBraves 33. Childs game looked so good against UNI as if he hasn't lost a step..

My one wish is that all the remaining players will "step up" and "improve their game" during the conference season. Let's turn this negative into a series of positives - where every Bradley player - plays at a much higher level.

Just like last year Ben Jacobson did "not" have the strongest MVC team at the beginning of last years 2018-2019 season.
Ben's goal was to continuously improve his team, their techniques, and all aspects of Northern Iowa's basketball game.

Ben knew - finish in the top 6 of the conference and then anything is possible.... And Northern Iowa "nearly" pulled it off.

Bradley - go out there and give it your all. Continue to improve during the conference season. No one is going to give you any game - you have to "TAKE IT"..... I'll be cheering you all on out here from Colorado. GO BRAVES.

Am I correct in that I’m seeing childs with nothing on his injured fingers. He’s been clapping and cheering fairly normally.

Per Dave Reynolds “Elijah Childs has been cleared by doctors to play for Bradley. He’s been practicing this week and will decide Sunday if he can play vs. Evansville on Sunday afternoon.”

Finally some positive news. Let’s go Braves!

OH HAPPY DAY! Maybe the boards will pick back up. After losing our last 2 games in ugly fashion we've gone pretty quiet here and I'm not getting my usual Braves fix.

Let's crush Evansville this Sunday and get back on track! I'll be bringing a friend to the game and encourage everyone else to start trying to get other folks interested in coming to games. They don't know what they're missing!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

3 of our next 4 are at home so at very worst we need to be 9-6 two weeks from now

Terrific news. I wouldn't be surprised if he is a little rusty, and maybe will have his minutes limited.
But it will surely give this team a boost just when we needed it.
