bigjimmy. What good does a large crowd do to help the team when the band, cheerleaders and ratatatatatatat can't stop talking announcer do their esteemed best at and of taking the crowd completely out of the game as well as the three policemen on the court who never and have never give us a home court advantage in spite the above negating the very same? I am not, and I repeat, not trying to flame an argument. Only confirming what is so awkwardly obvious on television or in person to any one watching. Why isn't it simply and only: "Welcome to the court: THE Bradley Braves"?

Interesting what people focus on when watching a Bradley Braves basketball game. I appreciate the efforts of our band, our cheerleaders and our excellent PA announcer as they add to the experience of attending a Bradley Braves basketball game. I for one also appreciate the Civic Center's security and ushers,,,unfortunately there are a lot of nuts out there. Most importantly, I appreciate the efforts of our hard working players and coaches! This team is fun to watch and I look forward to larger crowds as we jointly cheer on OUR Bradley Braves.

I have no clue what this means or what is trying to be argued. You don't like bands, cheerleaders or PA announcers at a college basketball game??? I also don't know how security impedes your game experience, unless they are kicking people out for heckling. If so, this is the first I have heard of it.

Not trying to knock them, Koch has progressed a lot in other aspects in his time here but not so much in scoring. He has shown some great flashes at the beginning of this season and last years but nothing sustained. I will say though his rebounding this year has been great.
Koch has improved offensively in that the game has slowed down for him. I've said it time and time again that he is not good with his back to the basket. He is more of a pick and roll big that gets his points from tip ins and put backs. I really appreciate the work Koch has done to improve his game in a lot of other areas over the course of 4 years. You are right, he's done a really good job rebounding this year.

Didn't see this coming. Former 4 star recruit Samari Curtis is transferring from Nebraska to Evansville. Does he know who his coach will be next year?

This kid is another example of a kid for whom the concept of "commitment" means very little.
As you said, he was a 4-star recruit out of Xenia HS in Xenia, Ohio just this past year (2019), where he averaged 33.8 points per game and finished his career with over 2,100 career points.
He was named Ohio's "Mr. Basketball" in 2019.

He initially verbally committed to Xavier as a junior, but then backed out of that commitment when Chris Mack left Xavier for Louisville. Then he signed in the early signing period in Nov. 2018 with the University of Cincinnati. But then when Cincinnati head coach left to take the UCLA job, Curtis asked for and was granted a release from his Letter of Commitment.

Then when Fred Hoiberg was named the new head coach at Nebraska last March, Curtis got a late offer and decided to go there. But despite Nebraska's lack of success this season (they are 7-9, 2-3), Curtis only appeared in 8 games, had a total of just 49 minutes of playing time, and 14 total points (four 3-pointers + 2 free throws). He played only 1 minute of garbage-time in Nebraska's Dec. 4 blowout loss at Georgia Tech and was scoreless. That was his final game. The following day, he told his coach he was bailing out and leaving Nebraska.

I suspect this is not how he expected his college career to go. There were some who predicted Curtis would be an immediate impact player at the college level, and when he transferred to Nebraska, CBS Sports' college basketball expert Jon Rothstein named him one of 10 freshmen he expected to impact the Big Ten.

But now, after committing and decommitting at 3 previous universities, twice because the coach that recruited him left, he is transferring to Evansville, which doesn't even have an official head coach at this time. If some of the rumors are true about Walter McCarty, it would seem he might not be retained. But this transfer might suggest otherwise.

He is an extremely athletic kid, who could be successful in the MVC. It will be interesting to see if he honors this commitment.
