  • Bradley's Next Opponent: # 16 MEMPHIS PLAYS NC STATE " TODAY Nov 28 " at 3 pm CST

Well for those Bradley fans or anyone else who is looking for something else to do this Thanksgiving Day - between all the meal courses and football games.... Bradley's next (Dec 3) opponent # 16 (5-1) Memphis plays today at 3 pm CST on ESPN-2 against
(5 -1) North Carolina State in the Barclay's Center Classic.

A side note regarding North Carolina State:
The NCAA has given North Carolina State a new deadline of Dec. 9 to respond to a notice of allegations of violations in its men's basketball program.

GO BRAVES !!!! And Happy Thanksgiving ....

I watched the Memphis-NC State game. Even without James Wiseman, Memphis is a very good team, with good big men, and excellent guards. They lead NC State by 20 points early in the 2nd half, but then slowly NC State cut the lead to 3. Then Memphis pulled away for the 83-78 win.

Memphis shot 8-12 (67%) from three, and shot 53% overall. They made their free throws (19-25, 78%), made clutch plays down the stretch, and outrebounded a pretty good NC State team 39-26. Bradley will have their work cut out for them.

One annoying aspect..... the announcers, especially Fran Fraschilla, spent much of the game cheering for Memphis, and making lame excuses for the James Wiseman situation. He claimed that since Wiseman did not know Penny Hardaway paid his mother $11,500 for moving expenses to Memphis (does anyone believe that?) that Wiseman should not be penalized and should be allowed to play. I call BS. Hardaway knowingly broke the rules, Wiseman likely knew all about it, and his patents surely knew they were breaking rules. Plus, the Memphis compliance people were either completely inept and dropped the ball or they were in on the whole scheme. As I said before, if this happened to a midmajor school, they would be slapped with far more severe penalties, maybe the death penalty for wanton cheating.

Thank you Da Coach for sharing your insights regarding Memphis....

Interesting that North Carolina State being 20 down was able to crawl back into the game.

Bradley's game against Kansas State was the best Bradley has played since playing MSU in the first round of last years NCAA tournament..

We need another game like the KSU game only with fewer turnovers, and Darrel and Elijah to step it up one more notch.

When BU is on broadcast TV, I regularly turn the volume down and turn up WMBD. They are about 30 seconds behind so I pause the game with my DVR, and wait until WMBD catches up, then start again. Makes for a far more enjoyable experience.

That said, this is going to be a tough game. I hope the team that played on Wednesday shows up, vs the team that showed up last Monday.

I have done the same on many TV games.
I do not know who will be the CBS broadcast team, but it probably won't be Fran Fraschilla, since he works primarily for ESPN.
