One other terrific non-MVC game that just ended- Stephen F. Austin overcame some bad calls and non-calls to tie their game 81-81 at #1 ranked Duke and take them to overtime.
In overtime, SFA outscored Duke 4-2, including a steal and breakaway layup at the buzzer to win the game 85-83

Another Illinois based team who refuses to play us is off to their best start since the 86-87. The DePaul Blue Demons are now 7-0 as they rallied from an 18 point halftime deficit to beat Central Michigan , coached by former Drake coach Keno Davis, 88-75. They've beaten both Iowa and Boston College on the road so far and more than a few pundits have said they believe the Blue Demons will be a NCAA team. Their next 3 games will test that theory as they play at Minnesota, then host #12 Texas Tech and Buffalo, who just beat Missouri State.
