  • Final score: Bradley 73 Kansas State 60

Bradley is now 4-2 and play Kansas State Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 5:00 pm Central.
Kansas State is 4-1, with their only loss coming to Pitt 63-59 on Monday.
The official Men's Basketball page for the Kansas State University Wildcats

    KSU stats-

Their leading scorer is Xavier Sneed (14.4 ppg), who had about 20 family members at Monday's game. K-State appeared to have close to 1000 fans total, far more than any other team. They are not a great 3-point shooting team, 30.2%, and they only average 64.2 points per game, despite playing their first 4 games against North Dakota State, UNLV, Monmouth, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. But they only yield an average of 55.6 ppg.

Let’s see if we can use the Northwestern game as a learning experience, and come out with the fire we have seen in our home games. We have to stop the opponent from driving to the hoop almost uncontested like they did last night. We have the talent to shoot a lot better, and I’m sure we will as the season progresses. Let’s go out and make a statement against K-State Wednesday night. GO BU!!!

FS1, same as last night's game according to the BU site:

Coach Wardle will need to apply master motivating skills to get the team ready for this. I don't know about anyone else, but even as a fan, I feel a bit defeated after Monday's game. This game against K-State will be a major test and will need great focus and attention to detail. These guys need to put Monday's game behind them and charge on!!! Let's go Braves!!!

We do seem to lack the type of angry motivation we got from Lundy and DLO last year. I hope someone can step up with a little attitude, but I don't know who that will be now. The only one that seems to have that fire this year at all might be Childs, but we may have to start going to the bench until we find it like we did with Lundy last year.

Whatever the case, if getting smoked by NU isn't enough motivation to make them come out like bandits tonight, then I don't think anything would do it.

                    Bradley warming up...

Bradley is the visiting team tonight. They will wear their red uniforms, and they will be on the opposite bench, which will be on the left side to the TV viewers.
