I wonder if SMU Basketball Head Coach Tim Jankovich will shake Evansville coach Walter McCarty's hand at the end of the game if SMU looses. Tim purposely did not shake Brian Wardle's hand at the end of their game last year that Bradley won at the Cancun Classic. I am sure that Tim (ex ISU coach) does not enjoy playing any Valley team. Before this season even began Tim is on the SMU "Hot Seat" . -
Evansville played another pretty good game tonight against a decent SMU team (picked 8th out of 12 in the American Conference).
The game stayed close throughout, but SMU managed to hold off UE and win 59-57.
Neither team shot real well, but SMU outrebounded Evansville 47-25, and had 16 second chance points to just 3 for UE.

Evansville drops to 3-1.
The MVC now has a cumulative record of 23-15, and 19-15 vs. Division I.
Northern Iowa at 4-0 is now the only unbeaten MVC team.
