  • Former Bradley players

Former players Josh Cunningham, Joel Okafor, and Davante Cooper used up their remaining eligibility last season. Cunningham is playing pro ball in Holland (in the same league as Donte Thomas), and Cooper is playing pro ball in Uruguay.

There are now 8 former Bradley players still playing elsewhere (if I am missing someone, let me know).

Jayden Hodgson is now a senior at Grand Valley State University, a Division II school in Allendale, Michigan. Grand Valley State is 3-0 and they play their first road game today at U of Indianapolis. Jayden started the first 2 games for GVSU. He averaged 4.5 ppg in those 2 games, though he only played 8 minutes in his last game and apparently left with an injury. He did not play at all in their last game Thursday against Truman State. There is no report about the injury or when he might return.
GVSU has 2 other former MVC players. Isaac Gassman (formerly of ISU) and Christian Negron (formerly of Loyola) have both started all three games. Gassman is averaging 9 ppg and Negron is at 12 ppg.

Antoine Pittman transferred to Maryville University, a Division II school in St. Louis. Maryville is 1-2 on the season so far, but Pittman has not played in any of the games. I don't have any information why he isn't playing. He is listed on their roster, so possibly he has been injured..

Maryville plays at Bradley on Dec. 10, so maybe we'll find out what is going on.

Lou Griffith is now a junior at St. Thomas Aquinas College. They are a Division II school in New York. They are 4-0, and Lou is averaging 8.8 ppg and shooting 41% from three.-

Ronnie Suggs played in SIU's exhibition game but then missed SIU's first 4 games due to a calf injury. He started last night in their game at home against University of San Francisco. SIU lost to USF 76-60. Ronnie played 15 minutes, was 2-4 from the floor, and had 6 points in his first game action of this season.

Scottie James is now a senior at Liberty University. He is one of their key players and has started all 4 games for Liberty. They are 4-0, and Scottie is averaging 10.5 ppg and 9.8 rpg. Scottie was the MVP of the Atlantic Sun tournament last year, which Liberty won, and he was also named to the A-Sun All Conference 1st team. In addition, he was picked to their 2019-20 Preseason All Conference 1st team.

Armon Brummett is a sophomore at Danville Area Community College. DACC is 3-3 and Armon is off to a good start. He is averaging 16.3 ppg and is shooting 38.9% from three. He is also leading the team with 6.5 rebounds per game.

Chudier Bile is a redshirt-junior at Northwestern State (Louisiana) of the Southland Conference this season. They are 1-3 so far. Chudier has started all 4 games, and is averaging 7.0 ppg and 9.3 rpg.

JaMir Price transferred to Quincy University for his freshman year. Quincy has played 2 exhibition games, and 2 regular season games, and they are 1-1 so far. JaMir is listed on their roster, but he has not yet appeared in any of their games. He might be injured, but I can't find any explanation why he isn't playing.

Update on former Bradley players still playing college ball-

Jayden Hodgson- D2 Grand Valley State is 5-1 on the season. Jayden has also been injured (see above post) and missed a couple games. He has come back and played limited minutes in their last 2 games. But he has played well and has boosted his scoring average to 8.3 ppg, and he is shooting 50% from three.

Antoine Pittman is at Maryville University, a Division II school in St. Louis. Maryville is now 3-3 on the season, and Pittman did not play in their first 4 games. But then he came off the bench and played 27 minutes in their 5th game, a win against Lincoln University of Missouri. Antonio was their leading scorer with 18 points, and he had 6 rebounds. But then in their last game, Pittman played only 10 minutes off the bench and had 2 points. It is likely AP is battling some sort of injury, but there hasn't been any official report. Maryville plays at Bradley on Dec. 10, so maybe we'll find out what is going on.

JaMir Price - JaMir is still listed on their roster, but he still has not yet appeared in any of their games. D2 Quincy is 3-2

Lou Griffith is a junior at Division II St. Thomas Aquinas College. They are 6-1, and Lou is averaging 7.4 ppg and shooting 36.4% from three.

Ronnie Suggs SIU is 3-4. Ronnie missed SIU's first 4 games due to a calf injury. He returned and has started in their last 3 games. He averages 7.3 ppg, and is shooting 37.5% from three.

Scottie James is now a senior at Liberty University. Liberty is 9-0, the best record in Division I, and they are one of only 26 undefeated teams left in D1.
Scottie is averaging 11.0 ppg and 8.6 rpg so far.

Armon Brummett Danville Area Community College is 3-3. They have been on a 2-week break, so Armon's numbers haven't changed much- 14.7 ppg, shooting 40.9% from three, and a team-leading 6.3 rebounds per game.

Chudier Bile is a redshirt-junior at Northwestern State (Louisiana) of the Southland Conference. They are 2-4 so far.
Chudier is their leading scorer, and rebounder with averages of 11.2 ppg and 9.3 rpg.

Update on former Bradley players who are still playing elsewhere-

Jayden Hodgson- D2 Grand Valley State is having a terrific season. They are 19-4 overall and 12-3 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Jayden was injured (see above post) early in the season and missed a couple games. But he returned and made his way back into the starting lineup. Jayden is now averaging 30 minutes per game, and 7.4 ppg. He shoots 34.2% from three, and leads the team shooting 89% from the FT line. He also leads the team in assists.

Antoine Pittman was at Maryville University, a Division II school in St. Louis. Pittman did not play in their first 4 games. But then he returned and played in 4 games, including their game at Bradley on Dec. 10. But then he has not appeared in any more games, and now his name has been removed from their roster page suggesting he is not playing at Maryville any more.

JaMir Price - For the first half of the season, JaMir was listed on the Quincy University roster, though he never appeared in any games. Now his name has been removed from their roster, so he appears to no longer be part of the team. D2 Quincy is 12-10, and 6-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Lou Griffith is a junior at Division II St. Thomas Aquinas College. They are 19-3, and Lou is averaging 25 minutes per game, 9.3 ppg, and he is shooting 39.1% from three.

Ronnie Suggs is a starter atSIU. SIU is 15-10, and they are 9-3 and in 2nd place in the MVC. Ronnie missed SIU's first 4 games due to a calf injury, but has now started their last 19 games. He is only averaging 5.6 ppg, but he is playing an important part in SIU's resurgence.

Scottie James is now a senior at Liberty University. Liberty is 23-3, one of the best records in Division I, and they are 9-2 in the Atlantic Sun Conference, and tied for 1st place. Scottie is averaging 10.8 ppg and leads the team with a 60% FG% and with 7.4 rpg.

Armon Brummett is a sophomore at Danville Area Community College. DACC is 11-9. Armon leads the team with a 16.1 ppg scoring average. He is shooting 35.1% from three. Armon also leads the team with 6.1 rpg. He also is shooting 35.1% from three.

Chudier Bile is a redshirt-junior at Northwestern State (Louisiana). They are 10-12 overall and 7-6 in the Southland Conference. Chudier is their leading scorer with an average of 13.8 ppg and he averages 7.3 rpg. He also is shooting 35.8% from three.

Stephan Gabriel- left Bradley on December 28, 2019. He has reportedly enrolled at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. He is not currently playing, but will probably play next season there.
