I’m not a fan of women’s sports, but I have to admit with the wins piling up and the stats I’m seeing posted, I’m beginning to be intrigued!

Bradley is playing this afternoon at Loyola looking to extend their 4-game win streak and to stay undefeated in MVC play.
So far, it looks good for the Braves.
Bradley lead by as much as 20 points in the first half, and holds a 36-20 halftime lead-
The Braves are shooting the ball well (45.2%), outrebounding Loyola 23-16, and playing great defense, holding Loyola to 25% from the field (7-28 ) and 0-6 from three. Gabi Haack leads Bradley with 10 points, and Lasha Petree has 8 points. Chelsea Brackmann has 7 rebounds, which ties her with Leti Lerma for the most career rebounds in Bradley history. Her next rebound will make Chelsea Bradley's all-time career leading rebounder.

This year's team could set some new standards for the Bradley women's program
Since entering the Missouri Valley Conference in 1984, the Bradley women have never won the regular season MVC title. In fact, they have never finished higher than tied for 3rd.
They tied for 3rd in 1992 with a conference record of 11-7, and they tied for 3rd in 2010 with a conference record of 12-6.
They also have never won the MVC Tournament, and have never played in the Women's post-season NCAA Tournament or the Women's post-season NIT.

That is AWESOME - and I looked at the current women's rankings - with a date of January 12th - and Bradley is currently not getting any respect. Hopefully this will change.
GO WOMEN BRAVES - keep it up....

ESPN is not posting Bracketology for the Women's NCAA Tournament, done by Charlie Creme.

Bradley is getting some recognition. They are in the bracket of 64 as the auto-bid from the MVC (based on BU currently in 1st place) as a #12 seed.
Missouri State (#6 seed) and Drake (#10 seed) are also in the bracket as at-large teams.
