Apparently whoever wrote the summary may not know this was not a "regular season game" and that the stats don't count.

On the other hand, Northwestern lost the majority of their team's production from last year, and they are picked by almost everyone to finish 14th (last place) among the 14 Big Ten teams.

Northwestern started a young lineup- one junior, three sophomores, and one redshirt freshman. They only have 1 senior on their roster.
They shot very well- 60.9% overall and 44.4% from three.
Their first 4 game- Merrimack, Providence, Radford, and Norfolk State- all at home.
Their game against Bradley on November 25 will be their first game away from their home court.
