The 2019-20 Bradley men's basketball season plays their first game 1 week from today, Tuesday, Oct. 29. It is an exhibition game vs. Millikin University, and it will be the first opportunity for fans to see the 2019-20 Braves against an outside opponent.
Note that the starting time is 6:00 PM.
The first regular season game is 2 weeks from today, Nov. 5, at St. Joseph's University. As of now, there does not appear to be any TV or video streaming option available for either game.
Millikin is a Division III school located in Decatur, Illinois. The Millikin Big Blue have played basketball since 1903, which is the same year Bradley started playing basketball.

They have been members of the CCIW (Collegiate Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) since the 1946-47 season. Here are the 9 current CCIW members- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colleg...urrent_members
Bradley is 30-23 all-time against Millikin. They were both members of the old IIAC (Illinois Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) for many years in the first half of the 20th century. The last time these 2 teams played a regular season game was March 2, 1940, and Bradley holds an 8-game win streak against Millikin in regular season games extending from 1936-1940.
Since Bradley does not show records of exhibition games in their archives, I cannot find if or when Bradley might have played Millikin in a past exhibition game. If anyone knows, let us know.
Millikin basketball was 11-13 last season (2018-19), and they were 5-11 in the CCIW. They are coached by Mark Scherer who is starting his 3rd season at Millikin. They have struggled for the last decade or so, and their last winning season was in 2008-09. Their last D3 NCAA Tournament appearance was 1988-89.
Like a lot of Division III schools, they have a large number of players. Their roster has 23 players on it, 14 are from Illinois. They have pretty good size with 8 players who are 6'7" or taller, and they have some pretty good shooters. Last year they shot 37.2% as a team from three-point range, which is pretty good. They had 4 double-digit scorers last season (see stats below), and 2 of them return this season. The 2 top returning scorers are brothers Zach Fisher (a junior who averaged 12.6 ppg & 33.9% from three) and Calvin Fisher (a sophomore who was last year's CCIW Freshman of the Year and averaged 11.2 ppg & 39.0% from three).
