Bradley was scheduled to host Eastern Illinois today (Sunday, Oct. 22) in a closed scrimmage at the Renaissance Coliseum.
Most such closed scrimmages like this are played like a real game, but by mutual agreement, the two teams agreed to a different format today. They did not play a full game, but instead played multiple segments and situational scrimmages.
Recall that EIU beat Bradley last year during the regular season-

There aren't any specific scores or results to report, but, I can report that Bradley played very well today against a veteran and athletic EIU team, and the coaches were pleased overall. I also heard that the newcomers played well, which the coaches were also happy to see.
So the next chance to see the Braves will be the Exhibition game on Tuesday, October 29 against Millikin University in the Carver Arena.
