Bradley will play one closed scrimmage this preseason on Sunday afternoon, October 20, against Eastern Illinois. We believe it will be at Bradley's Renaissance Coliseum.
Teams are allowed to play a maximum of 2 preseason events, either closed scrimmages or exhibition games. The last few years, Bradley has opted to play one of each. Last season, Bradley played a closed scrimmage against Northern Kentucky University in a game that was played at Banker's Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

For the record, Bradley was said to have beaten Northern Kentucky "easily". NKU went on to have a terrific season. They finished the 2018-19 season with a record of 26-9. They tied for the regular season title of the Horizon League, they swept through the Horizon League Tournament to win the Tournament Championship. They got the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, played well, but lost 72-57 to Texas Tech, the #3 seed in the West Region. Note that Texas Tech made a run all the way to the NCAA Championship game, before losing in OVERTIME to Virginia.
Since it was announced already that Bradley will be playing an exhibition game at the Civic Center on Tuesday, Oct. 29 against Millikin University, we presumed there would be one closed scrimmage, and now that is confirmed.
Here is a list of closed scrimmages by the other MVC teams-

Drake vs. Omaha, Friday, Oct. 18
Evansville vs. UT Martin, Sunday, Oct. 20
