After a breakthrough 24-9 season last year (2018 ), good things were expected from the 2019 Bradley volleyball team. Bradley finished 3rd in the MVC last season, and they were picked 3rd in this season's MVC preseason poll.

They returned a significant number of their experienced players from last season.
However, the Bradley had a disappointing first weekend of the season. They participated in the SMU Doubletree Invitational, and played 3 matches Friday and Saturday (8/30 & 8/31) and came out of the tournament with an 0-3 record-

They should bounce back this coming weekend as they host their own CEFCU Tournament at the Renaissance Coliseum Friday, Sept. 6 and Saturday, Sept. 7. They will play Belmont, Oakland, and DePaul-

The Braves play Oakland at 7:00 pm tonight, then play DePaul Saturday at 2:00 pm.
Oakland beat DePaul earlier today.

Bradley volleyball won their match earlier today 3-1 against Sacramento State in the UIC Invitational tournament.

They began the tournament last night with a 1-3 loss to host UIC.

They will play again at 4 pm today against Murray State in their final game of the UIC Invitational. The team is currently 3-5.

Bradley goes to 3-1 in the MVC in volleyball with the 5-set win over Illinois State. It was the Braves 3rd straight win and they are currently tied for 3rd place in the MVC.

That boosts the Braves MVC record to 7-4, and they move past ISU and into 3rd place by themselves. With 7 matches left in the MVC season, they are 2 games behind 2nd place Loyola and 3 games behind 1st place UNI. They play next on Monday at Evansville.

Just a suggestion: I notice all topics are posted in the Basketball Fan Talk forum and none of the others are used. I’d suggest eliminating the other forums or start placing the conversations in the proper ones.

Thanks for the thoughts.
We used to separate the sports other than basketball, but I noticed that few people read the other forums regularly. We even got some questions about things that were posted in the General Sports forum that the fans simply didn't see. So now I find it easier and better for fans to post basketball as well as other Bradley sports news in the Basketball Fan Talk forum, and use the General Sports forum for sports that don't involve Bradley (like MLB, NBA, NFL, etc.).

So to clarify this, I have renamed the Basketball Fan talk forum to Bradley Basketball and Other Bradley Sports. We'll continue to post Bradley related sports topics in the same forum as the Basketball topics.
