Ryan Sharbaugh was a graduate assistant at Florida State in 2014-15 and 2015-16 under long time head coach Leonard Hamilton before coming to Bradley as the DBO. While at Florida State, he worked with Dennis Gates who was an assistant coach there. Gates was highly impressed with Sharbaugh's knowledge, resourcefulness, and work ethic. I won't mention the name publicly as Bradley has not made the decision final yet, but the candidate I am hearing is someone with good experience, including in-state schools, though his current job is out of state.

As can be seen, we had this story a full week ago. There were clues in the previous post above from a week ago.
Note the first word in my post above is spelled with the capitalized "J" and "S"- signifying Julian Springer. And if you run your cursor over the word "experience" and "in-state schools", it would have uncovered hidden links to Julian Springer's background. A couple fans figured it out, but now it is OK to announce the news publicly.

Also, if viewers checked the Scholarship Grid on the recruiting board (not the one on this Basketball Fan Talk board), they would have seen Julian Springer's name posted as the DBO.

Dr. Julian Springer comes to Bradley from UAB where he was working outside the UAB basketball program as Associate Director of Facilities and Guest Services for the university-

Prior to that, he was Associate Director of Basketball Operations at Northern Illinois University. And prior to that he has had several various jobs in athletics, including several stints as head basketball coach and assistant basketball coach, and as Director of Athletics at multiple schools, including several other in Illinois. He is originally from Chicago, got his bachelor's degree at SIU, Masters degree in Athletic Administration at Central Michigan, Master's degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Jackson State, and he recently completed his Doctorate degree in Education at Northern Illinois University.
