  • Scott Suggs

One-time Bradley recruit Scott Suggs is one of the couple top recruits left that Illinois is still in the hunt for. Unfortunately, he eliminated Bradley already.

Here is one columnist from Seattle who rumors that Suggs will announce his commitment on Monday--

He has narrowed his list to Illinois, Missouri, and Washington. already has 14 kids on scholarship for 2008, so if he decides to go there, coach Lorenzo Romar will yanking 2 kids' scholarships.

Scott Suggs' career at Washington has been a little less than spectacular...considering he was very talented, Mr Basketball from Missouri...

First - he barely played as a freshman and probably should have redshirted..

then he got to play a little as a sophomore but as shooting guard he was "recruited over" when Washington landed TOP-Five, blue chipper Abdul Gaddy,
and never got to shoot much.

Finally last year as a junior, he played a bit more as Gaddy went down, but still scored only 228 pts, but hit 45% on 3-pointers - 49-109.

But now his senior season is in jeopardy, as he just broke a bone in his foot....
he'll be out at least a couple months, but as Andrew Warren knows, these foot fractures are tricky...

Scott Suggs - who would have been a great player had he gone mid-major - has struggled at Washington...

but good news for him - he's been granted a redshirt/medical waiver and will be returning again this coming fall for another season...

There was some talk last year he may want to transfer - and it's possible he may get this degree by end of summer - so you never know....
