The 2019 NBA Draft was held tonight (Thursday, June 20). Other than a few trades, there were no really big surprises. Duke Freshman and National Player of the Year Zion Williamson was picked #1 overall by the New Orleans Pelicans. Murray State's Ja Morant was picked #2 by the Memphis Grizzlies, and another Duke freshman, R.J. Barrett was #3 by the Knicks.
The Bull's picked at #7 in the 1st round and chose Coby White, a 6'5" freshman point guard from North Carolina, and they picked #8 in the 2nd round (#38 overall) and chose Daniel Gafford, a 6'10" sophomore center from Arkansas. No MVC players drafted.
