  • Bad news for Wichita State & Gregg Marshall

Highly rated and highly anticipated star transfer guard Teddy Allen - who was supposed to be a Player of the Year candidate this season
HAS BEEN DISMISSED FROM THE TEAM!!
    https://www.kansas.com/sports/colleg...231663528.html

He was arrested this past week for exactly what Milik Yarbough did in one of his arrests (Milik had plenty of other arrests, too)

speaking of which...ISU still has an open scholarship and maybe they could get this kid a waiver....he'd fit their culture...

    the hits just keep coming....
even more bad news for Wichita....

now a key American Athletic Conference school that won the National Championship as an AAC member -
is leaving the conference.....and headed elsewhere

"UConn to the Big East - AAC future UNCERTAIN"
    https://www.cbssports.com/college-ba...ure-uncertain/

"I'd be surprised if this ends pretty...." -

could this be the beginning of the collapse of the AAC - with Wichita finding itself
with nowhere to go and begging to get back in to the MVC?

no word yet where Allen might go - his choices are slim since he has already sat out a year and might have to sit another if he transfers..
..or he could go juco or turn pro...

but there's a number of other MVC guys who we haven't heard what their plans are...
Milik Yarbrough woorked out for several NBA teams but wasn't drafted & hasn't been added to anyone's summer team roster...
Same with several other MVC guys - Player of the Year Marques Townes, Clayton Custer, Armon Fletcher, Phil Fayne and Nick McGlynn all might still get a chance to work out with someone....but all are longshots to ever make the NBA.

But here's a stumper...ISU's Deontae Hawkins has kinda disappeared from the radar screens.
He left ISU, played a few games with Boston College, then declined to appeal for another year (injury) was said to have signed with a European team,
but never played for anyone anywhere. But just recently he posted this - but then still hasn't signed with anyone - https://twitter.com/TheprocessT/stat...57213922557953

Loyola's Milton Doyle just signed to play with the Kings' summer League team
