He played high school basketball for Chaminade in St. Louis and at Montverde Academy (FL)
But he never played his senior year because of surgery for hip labrum injury....
He then redshirted in 2018-19 after he got to Nebraska (a Durant-like Achilles injury) and did not play - he will need a waiver to be eligible this year...but since he didn't play there and they changed coaches, NCAA will probably grant him one.
So he hasn't played any basketball since spring of 2017-18 at Chaminade.
