his athleticism is reminiscent of Saihou Jassey

he was also being recruited by Grand Canyon and Valparaiso but notes that Coppin State (2018 ) and both Tulsa & MTSU (2017) had reportedly offered 1-2 years earlier...

That leaves ISU with three open scholarships still - but maybe they will hold one for 2020 ("bank the scholarship") since
they only have two seniors (Zach Copeland, Jaycee Hillsman) in 2019-2020 and on paper will have only two open scholarships
    for their 2020 recruiting class.

The MTSU offer was before their coaching change so I highly doubt that was still viable. Still that’s about as best they can hope for at this point.

Maybe this new recruit Sissoko is plotting a course like Zion Williamson...

          Here's a quote from him...

" The ultimate goal, though: he wants to one day play professionally.

"Right now, I'm not really focusing on recruitment... I'm going to go somewhere. My main focus right now is to get better,
so that anywhere I go and I can play right away," said Sissoko.

"My main goal is to get better and play one or two years of college, and then go pro if I have that chance."

so like John Jones and Elijah Clarance, he might be just using ISU for a year or two as a stepping stone to the NBA or pros elsewhere
