  • Preseason 2019-2020

This site does a preseason TOP 25 for mid-majors...
    https://www.midmajormadness.com/2019...cu-saint-marys

They have Missouri State in their top 25 (#14) with Bradley getting votes just beyond the Top 25
So I guess that's how some will see it - with Missouri State getting the preseason top spot in the MVC and Bradley behind them...

The Missouri State beat writer picks who he thinks will win the 2019-20 MVC race...but perhaps he's a little less than biased...

"..the Bears should be an overwhelming favorite."

I don't know about overwhelming but I think they will be picked #1 by most observers - but things could certainly change between now & November - they always do - remember - lots of people picked ISU to win it all last year and extolled the talent and depth they had.
And not many people had Loyola at the top in 2017-18 when they were Final Four team.
And Drake was picked NINTH the year they won it all and ended with 30 wins - https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...preseason-poll

they are still one over on scholarships - and one of their incoming guys, Tyem Freeman is still rehabbing from an ACL repair that happened mid-season during his final high school year.

Nice article by the Missouri State beat writer. I must have missed it, was there a similar article from the Bradley beat writer?

Nice try Jim. It’s not their job to report that Bradley is good, now that they are.

Dave Reynolds was at the coaches' show last Thursday and did post an article the following morning -
but in effect he was reporting on what someone else was reporting (Dave Snell) -
..that was the column I referred to HERE where he mentioned that Bradley has five signed newcomers, when in fact they have six (Price, Thomas, Gabriel, Ville, Mast, Kingsby)
