Valparaiso just got a commitment tonight from 2020 recruit- 6'8" forward Jacob Ognacevic of Sheboygan Lutheran.

SIU just got a commitment last night from Eric Butler, a 6'3" combo guard from Orlando Christian HS. He is originally from Alabama.

Illinois State just got a verbal commitment from 6'9" Alston Andrews of Ocoee, Florida-
Now every MVC team except Missouri State has at least one 2020 commit.

Also tonight, Valparaiso gets a commitment from 2020 Sheldon Edwards, a 6'4" guard from TLAP Sports Academy, West Palm Beach, Florida.
This is their third 2020 commitment. They are now at 13 scholarships for 2020.

Illinois State's Dan Muller was trying to land another point guard with one of his remaining 2020 scholarships.
He just got a commitment tonight from junior college point guard Josiah Strong.
Josiah Strong is a 6'2" point guard currently playing at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
He is originally from Champlin Park High School in Champlin, Minnesota. He originally committed to Navy out of high school, and multiple recruiting sites indicate the Navy offer was his only D1 offer. He played in 31 games for Navy in 2018-19, but did not start any games. He averaged 10.5 minutes per game, 3.1 ppg, 0.8 rpg, and 1.0 assists per game as a freshman. He shot 37.8% overall, and 36.2% from three.
He left Navy after his freshman year, and is currently playing at Iowa Western CC. They are 4-3 after 7 games. Josiah Strong is averaging 14.2 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3.7 assists/game, and he's shooting 36.1% from three.

6'5" combo guard Howard Fleming of Louisville, KY committed today. He averaged 12.3 ppg and 6.7 rpg last season as a junior, and is injured and not playing this season, his senior season -

Fleming averaged 12.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game last season as Male compiled a 22-10 record. He missed the first half of the season after having surgery on his right shoulder. Fleming had surgery on his left shoulder earlier this month and said he'll play again in January.Comment
