One new name- this recruit was on an unofficial visit today (Sat. 10/5) at the Bradley open scrimmage at Renaissance Coliseum.
2021 James Dent- 6'4" shooting guard who is a junior at Springfield Southeast HS this year. He is an emerging talent who has not gotten much publicity yet, but that will probably change this season https://www.sj-r.com/sports/20181230...s-dent-is-here
I saw Connor Hickman at the game. He was there on an unofficial visit with an older man who I assumed was his father. He is a 2021 recruit, and listed in various places as a point guard, a shooting guard, or a combo guard. He is an excellent shooter, and is more recently listed as a 6'2" shooting guard.
2019 recruiting is almost closed out....we still have the 2019 scholarship that would be available if JaMir Price lands at prep school.
..so I will start a new, separate thread for 2020 recruiting and beyond.
I suspect our staff will continue to hold that one final scholarship open since several really solid transfer kids are
Nice article about him and his desire to play college ball in the US. It mentions he is also playing in a school league with his prep school Holy Trinity in Crawley, England (south of London) https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/182...ps-dreams-usa/

I think Terrell Strickland would be a good player for Bradley. He is the son of former DePaul star and 17-year NBA player Rod Strickland, and is 6'2" point guard now playing at Scotland Campus Sports in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

With currently 2 open scholarships for next season, what positions do you feel Bradley will be looking to fill? From my perspective, I would love to see them add a point guard and an athletic wing who can is capable of shooting the 3 ball.
I agree those seem to be our greatest needs. i would say one of the things we currently lack is speed/quickness. Other than Kingsby I don’t think of any of our players as particularly fast/quick and that is a big limitation.
I would add the caveat that I don’t know enough about Mcadoo and Nolan’s game and that might impact things.
I agree that the top 2 priorities are probably point guard, and wing. But there could end up being more than 2 open scholarships. Recall that there have been scholarship players leave every year under Coach Wardle who still had eligibility remaining. And some of them were not expected.
Here are the early departures-
2016- Joel Okafor, Scottie James, Davante Cooper, Mike Shaw (retired from basketball)
2017- Ronnie Suggs, Jerome Merritt, Alex Foster
2018- Jojo McGlaston, Ryan Stipanovich, Callum Barker
2019- Antoine Pittman, Jayden Hodgson, Armon Brummett, Chudier Bile (left before enrolled for fall semester)
2020- Stephan Gabriel, JaMir Price (left before enrolled for fall semester), ?more
I also have been thinking PG and an athletic wing. I'm not as concerned about 3 point shooting as getting to the rim and defending other athletic players.

Thus my "currently" addition to that sentence . I would surely love if everyone came back next year. I guess time will tell...
Nextlevel24's 17u #25 Jayson Kent C/O 2020 highlights vs Mac Irvin Fire eybl.
Bradley also following his sophomore teammate 2022 Robbie Avila, a 6'6" wing (see below).
2020 Bradley recruit Jayson Kent was at the game tonight (MSU vs. BU 2/19/20). He is a 6'6" or 6'7" wing guard who has played the 1, 2, and 3 positions this season at Oak Forest HS, a south suburb of Chicago. He has really emerged over last summer and this season in high school as a good shooter with good ball-handling skills. He has lead his team at Oak Forest HS to a surprising 25-1 record this season, and they have climbed to #5 in the nost recent Class 3A poll-
One of Bradley's top targets for their final 2020 scholarship is guard Latrell Wrightsell, Jr., a senior at Omaha Central HS, who we have have reported on here since October, 2018 . He and his family have already visited Bradley. He has reportedly grown to 6'3" now, and he is putting up big numbers so far this season. https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...adley-saturday
This past week he was named the High School Player of the Week by an Omaha TV station after leading his Omaha Central team to 3 wins and the championship of a local tournament- https://www.wowt.com/content/sports/...566155751.html
