What was the selection process for Portsmouth Invitational?

They have published the player selection process as if it is a scientific formula.....
but I am pretty convinced there's still a lot of subjective input from NBA people and scouts as to who they want to see there...
\and they try to get the 64 best college players who will accept their invitations so their talents can be displayed and help the NBA people & scouts determine if the kids are worth considering or drafting or inviting in for private workouts.

In his 2nd game Milik Yarbrough, the only MVC player at the Portsmouth Invitational
had a bad game - he went 1-9, 0-4 from 3-pt, 6 pts, 3 rebs - but did have 5 asst
