That's a great thing for Bradley.

On a related note, Landry Shamet is playing for the Clippers. He only had one year in the Valley, but he's still a player who got recruited to a Valley school and played for a Valley team.

There are two rookies in the history of the NBA who have made at least 160 3's and shot at least 42% from 3.

      Landry Shamet
      Stephen Curry

I'm a Valley fan from the days when WSU, Louisville, Bradley, Drake, Memphis, Cincinnati, Tulsa were Valley members and all those schools were consistently among the best in the nation. I will always have a lot of fondness for the Valley and will always be concerned that when the better programs left the Valley, the Valley too often replaced those schools with schools just transitioning to D1 status.

Of the schools remaining in the Valley, I believe Bradley has the potential to emerge from the pack and claim the spot that Creighton and WSU used to have. Loyola has a great recruiting base and their F4 run is likely to get them a better level of recruits than they've historically had.

The appearance seems to be that if the Valley is to climb back to just outside the top tier of leagues, Loyola has to continue to have some respectable teams and Bradley needs to stay on their trajectory of improvement.

Landry Shamet played three years at Wichita 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18
The first two were in the MVC and 2017-18 was after Wichita left the Valley,
but he only played 3 games his freshman season so he would have gotten a medical waiver to play
two more seasons but he chose to forego his amateur status and entered the draft.
