Drake played the 3rd game of their 3-game trip to Costa Rica tonight. They played the University of Ottawa again in a rematch. They lost to the Ottawa Gee-Gees Sunday 87-82. But tonight Drake won 68-64. Stats are pending.

Evansville won their 3rd and final game on their tour of London, Belgium, & Paris. They just beat AK Training Camp 77-64 to finish the trip 3-0.

UNI also played today in Rome in their 3rd and final game of their tour of Italy.

Drake (Costa Rica), Evansville (London, Belgium, Paris), and UNI (Italy) are done with their games.

But today, Illinois State plays their first game on their tour of Italy, and Valparaiso plays their first game on the Canadian tour.

Illinois State plays today in Rome against a team from Stella Azzurra Roma Basketball Academy. This academy has multiple teams, but the team ISU is playing is probably their 3rd tier Italian League team that has already played Nebraska, Minnesota, Central Arkansas, and Illinois Wesleyan..
The US college teams they have already played are-
July 25 they played University of Central Arkansas
August 5 they lost to Nebraska 87-56
August 6 they lost to Minnesota 84-79
August 8 they beat Illinois Wesleyan 67-62
August 10 they play Illinois State
Today's game against ISU will be Stella Azzurra's 4th game in 6 days against US College competition. -

Valparaiso plays McGill University at 2 pm Central time in Montreal. McGill might not be one of the better Canadian teams. They were 14-14 last year, and they have played one NCAA team already, University of South Florida, and were clobbered 103-70. The game will be streamed by McGill-

The only game today (Sunday, Aug. 11) involving an MVC is Valparaiso playing their 2nd game in Canada today against Concordia University of Montreal at 1 pm CDT...

Concordia is a pretty good Canadian team. They already have a win over NCAA Division I Quinnipiac on Wed. Aug 8 by a score of 98-90.

Concordia is a pretty good Canadian team. They already have a win over NCAA Division I Quinnipiac on Wed. Aug 8 by a score of 98-90.

Concordia lead Valparaiso for most of the game, including a 12 point lead after 3 quarters. Concordia increased their lead in the 4th quarter before Valpo started their comeback. Then Valpo scored the final 14 points of the game to pull out a 94-90 win.

ISU won today in Italy to go to 3-0. They beat a team called LCC International 86-61 in their third and final game in Italy.-

I don't know what LCC International is, but it looks like ISU's deep subs, including walkons, all got in on the action.

Drake was the 5th MVC that went on a summer tour. They toured Costa Rica, where they went 2-1 (see summaries above).
