Loyola's Marques Townes picked a bad time to have perhaps his worst game of the season (1-8 shooting) and Loyola hung close but lost their first round NIT game tonight to Creighton 70-61.

Josh Cunningham also picked a bad time to have a bad game.
5 pts, 2 reb, zero assists, 4 turnovers for Dayton as they go down to Colorado 78-73 in the NIT
This ends Josh Cunningham's college career ...he turned out to be a solid player when healthy - 964 pts at Dayton, 260 pts. at Bradley
He played 2014-15 at Bradley for Geno Ford, then he sat out 2015-16 at Dayton after transfer.
He played 11 games in 2016-17 at Dayton hobbled with injuries but he did come back at the end of that season, eliminating any chance of a redshirt.
2017-18 was a bust for Dayton as they went 14-17 and didn't play in the post-season, then this year losing to Colorado in the NIT.

Just as soon as Clemson's season comes to an end - look for Clemson assistant Marty Simmons to put his name in for the SIUE job.
He was their head coach from 2002-2007 and went 88-59 and took them to the NCAA Tournament (DII) twice - once to their Elite Eight.
