I dunno about running out of gas. Both teams were trading blows. It just so happened that MSU came up with the final blow in the last minute or two. Given more time I think we could've evened it out and taken the lead again.

We lost. But I'm still very happy. 95% of that game was exciting as hell and we were in it and even winning half the time. We triggered Izzo to the point where he was lunging at his players. And at the end he looked REALLY distraught.

This reminds me a ton of the Loyala game from last years MVC tournament. We had a chance with 4 to play to win, but couldn’t get it done against a good team. They just couldn’t miss free throws. If they miss even 5, we have a really good chance to win. But it’s tough to win when they only miss 1.

I was on the other sideline of the football field so it was kind of hard to see. But it was POB, Bennet, Crouch (I think), and Ruffin in one row. Then there were two guys behind POB that I couldn’t ever identify. Could someone who was closer fill me in? It was great to see them come out and support the team, they stood almost the whole game and the entire arena was fully into Bradley it seemed. As good as or maybe even better than a Carver Arena game of late but this should be a transition back into a rabid environment for our home games.

The last 3 games Bradley lost, Drake, Loyola, MSU, they shot 76 for 85 at the free throw line for a measly .894 percent. A earlier post on this thread, I said this game will be a measuring stick of where this program is. That measuring stick is a yard stick and 4 years ago we was on the 1 inch line. I think we're near the 30 inch mark. We played great today! Can't wait for next year. Go Bradley

I liked that coach put in Hanley, Pittman, and Hodgsen at the end. A nice acknowledgement of the role they played in helping the team progress from terrible to terrific, even if they didn’t play as much as Van Bree and DLo.

Disappointing loss to a top 5 team but what a turnaround from the middle of the season! These guys have nothing to hang their heads about. Hard to overcome 25-26 shooting from the line. Love summer but am ready for October already!

What a way to finish your season - Congratulations to the Bradley Basketball Team - You had Nationally Ranked # 6 Michigan State "on their heels" and left it all on the court. I could not be prouder of this Bradley team. An incredible finish to an incredible season. Thank you to everyone. I am truly going to miss Dwayne (DLO), Luuk, and Luqman next season. After graduating from Bradley - Good Luck with your careers and future ambitions. All of you will always be remembered for this incredible season.
