Indiana State released their OOC schedule today. They only have eleven games scheduled rather than the 13 allowed with an MTE (which they are participating in).

Indiana State head basketball coach Greg Lansing announced today (July 31) that this year's non-conference schedule has been completed. The full slate including all 18 Missouri Valley Conference contests will be announced in September.
My first BU hoops game was on 12/30/1963. My dad took me to watch the Braves defeat Arizona 67-59. He helped me get Coach Orsborn's autograph before the game.

Jim Les' UC Davis team will open their 2019-20 schedule on the road at Loyola-Chicago on Tuesday, Nov.5.
That is the same date that Bradley plays their first game at St. Joseph's.

        ISU Red schedule out:

Illinois State men's basketball head coach Dan Muller has announced the 2019-20 Redbird non-conference schedule, which includes games against four teams that were in the 2019 NCAA Tournament field.

They and Valpo are in the same tourney. I thought teams from the same conference were not scheduled to play in the same tourney. Who dropped the ball?

According to a thread on the NIU fan board, Northern Iowa is playing there on November 9.

Here's the entire thread. Sorry to make you scroll down until you find the UNI mention. haha

To be fair they might have committed before Valpo jumped to the Valley. If they do play though, and tie in the standings, shouldn't the winner there get the tiebreaker?
            BRADLEY BASKETBALL
            -2 NCAA Title Games
            -3 NCAA Elite Eights
            -4 NCAA Sweet 16s
            -4 NIT Championships

I wondered if that was a possibility, but it seems unlikely. Valpo officially joined the MVC in May, 2017, though I suspect they were approached about it earlier when Wichita State was rumored to be leaving the MVC. I doubt these tournaments fill their slots more than 2½ years in advance, but maybe they do. Otherwise, it is a bit hard to understand why they would have 2 teams from the same conference. I have never seen that happen before.

If not the schools or maybe league office needs to coordinate these better to make sure it doesn't happen again.
