Iowa State has lost 4 of their last 5 and could end up finishing the season with 12 losses - some of which
are fairly bad losses - to 12-18 West Virginia, Arizona, TCU and yet their NET is dang-near in the single digits
because this formula rewards teams who stay away from midmajors!!
-
Then you have Indiana which they say could still get in the NCAA Tournament!
Indiana is now 15-14 with a non-conference Strength of Schedule of 161!!
... and their record in the Big Ten is 6-12 - deep in the Big Ten - tied in wins with 12th place Penn State
and behind Rutgers & Illinois who nobody believes are anywhere near an at-large bid!!

but they have already put up the fee and guaranteed themselves a spot in the CBI

some teams are already accepting invitations to the CIT - https://www.wspa.com/college-basketb...ent/1847442151Last edited by tornado; 03-15-2019, 05:46 PM.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
