I've talked all year about how this group wins and loses games and that's by our aggression and execution on both ends of the court. Missouri State plays a physical game on defense and frankly we haven't always responded well to it. On offense the Bears are very deliberate and suck the life out of the clock when they are leading. DB, with 12 in the 1st game, Nate with 11 and Eli with 10 in the 2nd game, were the only ones to score in double digits. We also had 21 turnovers and 9 assists in Game 1 and 13 turnovers and 5 assists in Game 2. Plus DB had just 1 point in Game 2. So seems pretty clear to me that Wardle's message to Eli, Luuk and DLO wasn't just based on their 1st half performance against Loyola but a reminder of how they have to play against the Bears. We need to be the ones dictating the pace on offense with moving the ball with sharp passing and taking advantage of Missouri State's over aggressiveness. On defense we need to move our feet and stay active and make sure that DaSilva doesn't dominate inside. As long as we match their aggressiveness on both ends I know we're the better team and I would hope and expect that we'll be eating an enjoyable supper at the Hard Rock Café at Union Station on Friday night after a Braves win. LET'S DO THIS BOYS! GET ER DONE!

Thanks for noting that. I know a lot of fans have gone there in the past. It's been quite a few years since I last went to the Hard Rock, but I would always see other Bradley fans there. Over the last 10-15 years, one by one, almost all the restaurants in Union Station have closed. So have many other great downtown restaurants. Even the old Laclede's Landing area used to have a number of unique restaurants, but they are nearly all gone now, too, except the Old Spaghetti Factory.

St. Louis still has a lot of terrific restaurants, including many new ones, but none of them are near the Enterprise Center arena.
If this helps anyone, here is a Tripadvisor page with restaurants.-

I never pay too much attention to the rankings and to the reviews (unless it's all bad ).
But if anyone has suggestions or experiences with restaurants, let's hear from you.

My recommendations though I am not a food expert- The restaurants in The Hill area are always great for Italian food, though there aren't as many as there used to be. There are a few newer restaurants downtown, including several along Washington St. (same street the team hotel is on). And there are a lot of great restaurants in the Soulard neighborhood south of downtown.

just two blocks west of the hotel on Washington Ave. is the Mango Peruvian - we have had great experiences there,

            A review - https://www.riverfronttimes.com/stlo...on?oid=2689233

Here is an article ranking St. Louis' highest rated restaurants (you have to click thru a slide show) - Mango is Top 25
but most on this list are well away from downtown.

we always felt safe walking the several blocks to Laclede's landing but now I read that things have apparently changed

Highly recommend Bailey’s Range if you’re looking for the best burger and fries of your life!

I've eaten there as well as a couple other Soulard restaurants like McGurk's Irish Pub and Big Daddy's, and a nearby ones like Shaved Duck in Tower Park area and SqWires- a restaurant in an old late-1800's wire factory near Lafayette Park where there are some old beautiful 1800's mansions that still exist.

This game feels like a pick 'em to me. I'm sure we will be the underdog on paper since they swept us, but I feel we have a good shot in this game. Both times they faced us was before we started executing on offense. I expect them to smother DB, so others will have to be ready for the ball. If we execute on that end, we win this game in my opinion. Should be a very good one. See you all down there.

I am also hoping the old adage holds true: It is hard to beat a team 3 times in a row
