Yes, we've posted occasionally about Scottie James and his success at Liberty. He is the leading scorer and rebounder for Liberty-
This is Liberty's first season in the Atlantic Sun Conference after leaving the Big South. The A-Sun is a slightly better conference overall, and yet Scottie finished the regular season 10th in scoring (12.6 ppg), 1st in FG% at 68.8%, 3rd in rebounding (9.0 rpg), and with a very good 3-point percentage (36.4%). He is just a junior and will return for another year.

From a fan's viewpoint, he certainly could have helped this team the last couple years with his game.
But I have never heard anyone say that our coaches advised him to leave like I have heard with the others who left. It's possible that the transfer was his own choice.

Da Coach...You may be correct that Scottie James left of his own choice. However, what do you think might have caused him to want to leave Bradley. Why was he unhappy? Playing time is always an issue but my gut feel is that playing time may not have been the issue. Scottie wanted to leave because of "other" things and our coaches did not try to convince him to stay.

James had talent and potential and fans liked him...
but he has to play within the system and fulfill the coach's requirements -
Same goes for Jojo McGlaston - who was our 2nd leading scorer in 2016-17
..I guess we cold cry over spilled milk but it's time to move on...
