It's supposed to be a high of 74 and sunny today in Fort Myers, then 80's and sunny all week.

    Go Braves!

Nor should they! I’ll try to bring home a couple wins!

In the Championship game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off, Northwestern is doing their best imitation of Bradley's performance from Monday. Plus they are proving their own performance Monday was a huge fluke. In a real ugly game so far, Northwestern trails Pitt at halftime 25-23-
Box score for the Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Northwestern Wildcats NCAAM game from November 27, 2019 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

Northwestern is 0-11 from three in the first half. Recall they were 10-20 against Bradley from three (50%).
They are 9-28 (23%) overall in the first half, after shooting 53% against Bradley.

BU really could have won this tournament!!! Ugh! It would have been huge to go into Memphis, Tuesday, as a 1 loss tournament champion. I know, don’t dwell on it. Just stinks. Ok, I’m over it. Nice win tonight! Let’s keep it rolling.

Northwestern shot better in the 2nd half after going 0-11 from three in the first half. But, Pitt pulled away for the 72-59 win and the Championship of the Fort Myers Tip-Off-

For 2020, Bradley is tentatively scheduled to participate in the 2020 Paradise Jam Tournament.

              2019 Paradise Jam- https://basketballtravelers.com/inde...?path=paradise

It is an 8-team tournament that usually takes place the week before the Thanksgiving week, and each team gets 3 games in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands on the campus of the University of the Virgin Islands. So far, the only other team reported to be in the 2020 Paradise Jam is St. Bonaventure-

Both Illinois State and Valparaiso played in the 2019 Paradise Jam. It sounds great. The only downside for fans is that the games are streamed only by subscription on FloHoops.com.

Already looking forward to it. Historically the Jam gets 2-4 Power 5 conference teams but last year they had zero (though Cincinnati is one of the best non-P5s). I don’t know if that subpar draw had anything to do with the 2017 devastating hurricanes which forced the Jam off the islands that year and into Virginia. Hopefully the field gets back to normal this year.

Isn't the AAC considered a power conference now, making it the Power 6, or was that just a really good marketing gimmick that fooled me?

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Well they’ve actively promoted that in football, but I think by most metrics they lag behind the top traditional conferences. They’re considered “G5” and compete with CUSA, MAC, SB and MW for a NY bowl bid. Though in terms of basketball it’s actually P6 but that 6th is the Big East, not AAC. IMO.
