    Interesting story

#5 Tennessee lost to LSU 82-80 in overtime Saturday.
The game turned on a controversial foul call that gave LSU free throws with 0.6 seconds left.
The ref making that last second call was DeWayne Jordan .....

Then a photo of referee DeWayne Jordan who the SEC assigned to do that game surfaces...
...seems the guy is an LSU fan and proud of it!!

I think a lot of griping about refs is not warranted but I have to agree with Coach Barnes on this one.

Here's the story & the photo and the ref captioned it -
"Strolling thru D-town Granada doing a lil site-seeing and look what I saw. To all my Bama's..Geaux Tigers"

On an entirely different refereeing controversy: Iowa coach Fran McCaffery curses out 'cheating' referee after loss . https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nca...oss/ar-BBU81SW

Although un-related the Iowa game reminds me of the two technicals and refereeing of the Bradley at Drake game.

I think referees need more classroom work and training. They need to learn that they are there to make sure the rules are followed. It is about 2 teams trying to win. It is not about the refs. I understand that you have to maintain discipline but some of these refs go way overboard. Don't ever challenge their calls!! Don't look crosseyed at them. The guy above should be put on probation until they are done investigating. There may not be nothing there but it showed extremely poor judgement

I don't condone obscenities and uncivil behavior - but if a coach gets really angry like Fran McCafferty did, I like that - it shows he is intense and passionate about winning and he "has his team's back" - every Iowa player interviewed said just that - and appreciated he was standing up for them...

You can throw Jerry Pollard into this category
