I hope the guys are as concerned as we seem to be, and should be, about the Valpo game. With this being the seniors last home game and with what's at stake I would think they will be concerned. We just need to continue to do what we've mostly done the last month, and that is being aggressive on both offense and defense. Can't worry about what any body else does. All we can control is what we do and just TCB. LET'S GET ER DONE BOYS!

By the way at no time in the history of men's basketball in the Missouri Valley Conference has a team won it with at least 6 losses. Only one time in the last 20 years has a team, Creighton in the 12-13 season, won the conference with 5 losses. Most of the time their have been at least 4 teams who won at least 10 conference games. The 05-06 season saw 6 teams win at least 10 conference games and over 20 games overall. As far as the Ken Pom rankings go this will only apply if the head to head format in a 2 way tie and the round robin tiebreaker format in a multi team tie don't break any ties. You could still have a 4 way tie for 1st, a 5 way tie for 2nd, a 5 way tie for 3rd, a 5 way tie for 4th, a 5 way tie for 5th and a 4 way tie for 6th. We'll see if all of those scenarios are still in play after the Wednesday games right here at On How The Valley Turns.

I want to congratulate and thank our seniors for sticking with this program. Four years ago you were one of the worst teams in the nation. You helped to bring BU, to where the NCAA tournament is a reality (this year or next). After winning 5 out of our last 6, only loss was when we played 5 to their 8, we will be focused and ready for Valpo. Evansville game was a fluke. After beating ISU, Loyola, and playing well against Drake it was "normal" to have a let down for Evansville. Give EU credit they played pretty good defense. Play tonight the quality of basketball you're capable of playing, get the win, and we'll start thinking out Loyola Thursday morning. Once again thank you seniors, you've brought a great deal of character to BU. Go Bradley!

The most recent specific reference in that ESPN column talks about the Loyola game on February 5th. And the photos of her aren't even close to being recent - one is from November and the one of her with Marques Townes is from the Final Four run last March....so it's a little more recent than this one.

Just do a twitter search, and there are numerous tweets showing her in public appearances in the past week.

And she appeared at the last Loyola home game Feb. 20 against Evansville. Here she is giving the pregame prayer before the game, and she was featured prominently throughout the NBCSports Chicago TV broadcast of the game-

Ryan Fazekas, who was their leading scorer when he went down with an ankle injury, will not play tonight for Valparaiso.
Fazekas injured his ankle against Bradley on January 8. He missed the next 9 games but recovered and came back to play the last 4 games. He averaged 30 minutes per game their last 4 games. But he injured his thumb in their last game at UNI and Valparaiso coach Matt Lottich has announced he will not play tonight.

What the Heck happened to espn1 or espn3. It looks like espn is going for the $$$ and to Hell with the fans. ESPN 3 streaming was at best, not very good.....Signals on and off, Ho-Hum announcers, and only available on your computer. Not very good.
Somehow, our Athletic Dept. needs to get to work to establish TV coverage for Bradley Basketball. Of course, this would be much easier if we were a top level Divn. 1 program with a winning record and a strong schedule....But we are not! So lets go to work and find something that works for our fans TV will not affect game attendance. If fact, it usually helps attendance by hyping interest in the Bradley program.
What we really need is effort and a well thought-out strategy. I truly believe we could do this IF our Athletic Dept. really wanted to. This could help the BU program in many ways including game attendance, recruiting, Etc.
