However, as we have posted previously, the Bradley Alumni Association has a block of tickets available for only $5 each. You just need to register with the BU Alumni Association for the Pregame Party and/or tickets. Check out the details-
http://www.cvent.com/events/bradley-...2dddd76e0.aspx
It does not include transportation to the Loyola campus (no bus trip), and I don't know how many tickets, if any, they still have.
The Bradley Athletic Department used to arrange fan bus trips to many away games every year, but those dwindled down and ended when the Glasser/Cross administration took over. I went on many of those bus trips, and they were always a blast.

Thanks for post and information. Also enjoyed many bus trips to watch BU. A memorable year is 1974 and Natiional Commissioners Invitational Tourney is St Louis.Only 8 teams in field. Joe Stowell coached a win over good Kansas State team. Second round and another bus trip only to lose in close game to USC. Bobby Knight coached Indiana to championship win over USC the next day.

We used to go many games in one of our friends vans. Always had a van load. My 2 favorite trips were Des Moines and Milwaukee, not to mention the NIT trip to New York on the spur of the moment. Ended up with 2 plane loads. We flew to Salt Lake and Atlanta. Of course Bradley always had a large group go to St Louis. Old Kiel was quite a place. Ah, the good old days. What part of illegal don't you understand?

I just checked every section on the Loyola ticket site and there are just 12 seats left in the entire arena for the Bradley game
- all in Section 203, which I believe are student seats that were not claimed
All other seats in every other section are sold.
StubHub has a few available at secondary market-prices - generally 2-3X face value
One mid-court lower bowl ticket is available on StubHub in Row H (almost in the upper bowl - but they guy wants $235 plus fees -
so figure on $250+ for a seat that cost him $25!!
Another re-sell site, Chicago-Arena.seats.com, is even more ridiculous - with seats deep in the end zone for $160-170
then there's this guy who has two upper bowl seats for $6,026.00 each!!! I'm serious!!
Great seats for Loyola Ramblers Mens Basketball at Joseph J. Gentile Arena, Order tickets to Loyola Ramblers Mens Basketball.
and this guy asking $4,600 each - https://www.vividseats.com/ncaab/loy...43948785&qty=1

That was a fun tournament, played in the old wooden structured Checkerdome Arena.
The tournament featured teams that finished 2nd in their conferences, since the NCAA Tournament only took one team from each conference.
The teams were:
USC- who featured All American Gus Williams who averaged 17.1 ppg over his 13 year NBA career and who had his number retired by the Seattle Supersonics
Arizona State- who feature All American Lionel Hollins who averaged 11.6 ppg over an 11 year NBA career and who had his number retired by the Portland Trail Blazers
Toledo- who featured Len Matuszek, who went on to a career as a 1st baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies and LA Dodgers
Indiana- who featured Bobby Knight as head coach and a very young team with no seniors. The team included Quinn Buckner, Steve Green, Scott May, Jim Crews, Kent Benson, and all the key players who would win the NCAA Championship in 1976.
Tennessee- who featured All American Ernie Grunfeld and 7-footer Len Kosmalski who both had NBA careers
SMU
And Kansas State- the team that Bradley beat 68-64 in the first round. They were coached by legendary coach Jack Hartman, and featured starting point guard Lon Kruger, and his backup, a young Jim Molinari, as well as another future NBA player Chucky Williams.
As Scoretable said, Bradley played USC two nights later, and lost a close game 76-73. USC then lost to Indiana in the title game 85-60.
Bradley finished that season 20-8, including the 1-1 record in the tournament. Bradley, who finished 2nd to Louisville in the 1973-74 MVC season, did not have any real superstars. Here is the roster of that team-
The Collegiate Commissioners Association Tournament was renamed the National Commissioners Invitational Tournament in its second year in 1975, and was played in Louisville, KY. However, that same year the NCAA expanded the NCAA Tournament and started adding at-large teams. The 1975 National Commissioners Invitational Tournament was won by the MVC runner up Drake. But then the tournament was discontinued after 1975, since the expansion of the NCAA Tournament accomplished the NCAA's goal of weakening the NIT.

I received an email from the Bradley Ticket Office today. There is nothing about a bus trip but it looks like there are Loyola away game tickets available.
Consignment Tickets for Loyola Away Game
Bradley Ticket Office still has a limited number of consignment tickets for the away men's basketball game against Loyola on Saturday, March 2.
The tickets are $10/each and in Section 211L.
Tickets go off-sale on Wednesday, February 27. Tickets must be picked up or received by mail from the Bradley Ticket Office and will not be available at Loyola's Will Call.

Seats in that section are $14 if purchased directly from the Loyola ticket office - so this is actually a pretty good deal
I still have a couple (2) tickets in that same section but way up front in row A if anyone wants to PM me - probably the very best unsold seats available !
