Bradley has won 4 straight games, and 7 of their last 9. They also have a 3-game road winning streak, and have moved into a 3-way tie for 4th place in the MVC.
The Braves' next game is at Drake on Tuesday, Feb. 19. Bradley is 15-12 overall, and 7-7 in the MVC. Drake has the best overall record in the MVC at 20-7, and they are 9-5 in the MVC, and currently in 2nd place, 1/2 game behind Loyola, who play at Evansville Sunday.

Drake was picked 9th in the MVC preseason poll, but new head coach Darian DeVries has the Bulldogs playing as well as any team in the conference, despite losing perhaps their best player Nick Norton to an ACL tear in their first MVC game. I think DeVries should get the Coach of the Year award.
Drake's leading scorer and rebounder is center Nick McGlynn, who is the leading Player of the Year candidate. He averages 15.4 ppg and 8.3 rpg overall. He is 4th in scoring and leads the MVC in rebounding. His MVC-only stats are 14.9 ppg and 9.1 rpg. The other starters take turns having great games, but it seems that they have a couple players step up every game.
Drake is the highest scoring team in the MVC averaging 76.4 ppg, more than 5 ppg above the next highest scoring team. Their 3-point percentage is 36.4%, which is average and ranks 5th in the MVC, but they take more threes (24.2 per game) and make more per game (8.8 per game) than any other MVC team.
