This is where the Bradley fans were mostly sitting every time I have been down there altho I have always opted to get lower bowl seats

If they don't give the Player of the Game to Ja'Shon Henry I'm gonna call Robert Mueller

and the idiot broadcaster who said he couldn't figure out why Penny Hardaway didn't recruit Darrell Brown, Jr. to Memphis!! LOL

Nice game - especially considering ISU came out and jacked a bunch right from the get go and the all went in...
..so we started essentially in an 11-point hole but made a nice comeback and took the lead at half.

ISU is not a good defensive team and they have several very weak spots on defense - with Tinsley, Chastain and Gassman

          Offensively -
          We had nice balanced scoring
          Kennell 15, Brown 13, Henry 11, DLO 11, Childs 8, van Bree 3, Lundy 2, Bar 2
and we had 28 bench points!

Yarbrough took 18 shots to get his 20 pts and he had one assist
Evans continues his poor shooting with just 1-6

Henry (4-7, 11 pts, 6 rebs) and Lundy (3 asst and zero turnovers) are very pleasant surprises with their caliber of play.

ANOTHER GREAT WIN!!....THIS TEAM HAS FINALLY COME TOGETHER AND IT SHOWS IN THE WAY THEY PLAY. We come up the floor much faster and with real purpose, our passes are generally quick and crisp (I wish we ccould eliminate cross-court "skip passes" which usually turn out bad a cause turnovers. We are much tougher inside, and our high energy gives us confidence and helps our shooting. With our new recruits next year, we should be able to make a good run to win the valley.

Totally unbelievable and a truly incredible turn around compared to how The Braves were playing up till January 16th (a month ago) - and then "things began to gel". The Braves only real sputter was January 26th at Missouri State …. The only other loss was to Southern Illinois by 3 and The Braves were still developing today's team chemistry.... Gosh are these guys fun to watch and showing the maturity to hold on to the lead and not be phased during the end of extremely stressful close games on hostile opposing courts. I / we need to enjoy these seniors.... Go Bradley...

The first 3 minutes of the game were ugly, as ISU quickly built a 11-0 lead. Bradley outscored ISU over the final 37 minutes by 17 points (65-48.).
The big difference was the improved shooting, especially from three. Bradley was 50% from three (9-18 ) though they missed their first two. And the other major factor was the outstanding defense that Bradley played holding ISU to just 35.4% shooting (23-65), and just 23.1% from three (6-26).
Rebounding was 43-38 in favor of ISU, and ISU had 16 offensive rebounds, but fortunately they only scored 9 points on all those offensive boards.

As noted, the poor shooting of Copeland, Tinsley, and Evans (combined 4-24 from the floor and 2-15 from three) really hurt ISU.

Bradley is now in a 3-way tie with ISU and SIU for 4th place. They hold the tiebreaker over ISU, but not over SIU-

Where has this team been hiding? Really great to see them come together and play as a team. Also nice to see Dave Reynolds miss another prediction. When can we get a pro-Bradley sports writer covering the Braves?
Another big game coming up Tuesday at Drake. If that game were on a Saturday we would go. My son is a Drake grad, but still a BU supporter. Would be nice to go to game with him.
                            Go Braves!!!

WOW! From 0-5 to 7-7 is an unbelievable effort. Now in a 3 way tie for 5th with the Redbirds and SIU though I expect UNI to make it a 4 way tie after they beat Evansville tomorrow. Took us awhile to get going but once Nate came in things seemed to settle down on both ends and we kept chipping away. Thankfully the Redbirds didn't go to Fayne more than they did as he was pretty unstoppable but Mueller's teams live and die on the 3 point line and tonight, after making their 1st 3 three point shots, were just 3-23 the rest of the game. We survived an 8 minute stretch from 12:30 to 4:30 where all we scored was 2 Nate 3's because our defense really stiffened up. From the 13:40 mark to the end of the half we gave up just 10 points and we made 6 of our last 7 three point shots in that period to go up 33-30. Nate scored all 15 in that half including the go ahead shot at the end of the half. Early in the 2nd half the Redbirds cut the lead to 1 but they never could get the lead back. A really good team effort in the 2nd half kept the Redbirds at bay. Ding dong the 11 game Redbird Arena losing is over! Don't stop now boys! KEEP GETTING ER DONE!
