when SIU played at Drake, they fell behind early 10-0, and were down 43-17 before halftime...
SIU rallied a little in the 2nd half but never got the lead back under double digits.
SIU is tough at home so this should be tight..

I just find this interesting. If all 5 home teams win today and tomorrow, then there will be a 5 way tie for second in the valley. There will also be two teams only one game back of second and everyone except Loyala will only be separated by two games (with Loyala being two games up on the rest of the pack on those 5 second place teams).

This conference is so wide open this season. It just sucks Bradley couldn’t find a way to win one of those first five conference games or they’d be right in the mix for a top 2 or 3 seed in St. Louis.

No clear team Bradley fans would root for to win. SIU would be easier to catch, but Bradley just needs to focus on winning to stay out of Thursday's games.
SIU's schedule the rest of the way after tonight has home games against Loyola and ILSU, and road games at Indiana State, Valpo, and Evansville. SIU is 7-5 at home, and 5-6 on the road.
Drake's schedule after tonight has home games against Valpo, Bradley, and Indiana State, and road games at ILSU and MSU. Drake has been very tough at home (10-2) and 5-4 on the road.

SIU about to fall to 6-7

we just need to keep winning - we could move up out of the bottom four seed positions
                Bradley's NET has improved to 188 -
                Valpo (182) & ISU (179) are close...

SIU trailed by double digits with less than 7 minutes in the game, but then closed it down to 1 point with 10 seconds left. But they couldn't score again-

Drake freshman D.J. Wilkins had 20 points, and now is the 2nd highest scoring freshman in the MVC with an average of 11.4 ppg. He is also shooting over 41% from three. Drake is now all alone in 2nd place.

Drake's DJ Wilkins is athletically a freshman but graduated high school almost 3 years ago...
in 2016-17 he spent a year at prep school, then spent 2017-18 at juco but redshirted with a Taylor Brown-like concern for an enlarged heart.
So time-wise & age-wise, he's a little ahead of all the other freshmen in the league.

Wasn't sure who I wanted to win this game as SIU wins a tiebreaker with us so we were essentially two games behind both of them.

I think it went the way we needed. Only time will tell. Siu sure blew the last possession.

As of now, it is not possible to say 100% who wins the tiebreaker between Bradley and SIU. The primary tiebreaker is head to head competition, and since they split the 2 games (SIU won in Peoria, and Bradley won in Carbondale), that tiebreaker is even.
If there is a 3-way tie (or more), then the tiebreaker becomes the results of a "round robin" between all 3 teams. There are possible outcomes in which Bradley would win the tiebreaker if that happened. For example, if Bradley wins at Drake next week, and then BU, SIU, and Drake all tie in the final standings, in that case, Bradley would get the higher seed over SIU because of SIU's 2 losses to Drake. There are other combinations where it could happen, too.
And in the case where BU and SIU finish in a simple 2-way tie, since they split their 2 games, the final tiebreaker is the teams' NET at the end of the regular season. As of now, SIU's NET is better than Bradley's, but that could change before the season ends.
