A report just this hour states that Luuk van Bree's hand is "all good" and he's available for "extended minutes" if needed.

Great game, Loyola is a 2-man team - if we slowed down Krutwig & Townes, we had 'em..
only four other guys scored and they were 9-25
,
and hard to believe but Custer, Skokna, Uguak, Agunanne and Kaifes combined for a grand total of 3 assists & 5 turnovers
(Custer had zero assists)

Bradley and Missouri State are the hottest teams in the MVC now. Each has 3-game win streaks-

As of now, the Coach of the Year race appears to me to come down to Darian DeVries of Drake or Dana Ford of Missouri State.
DeVries took over a team that lost more production than any other team and was picked 9th in the 2018-19 preseason poll. They graduated their entire staring lineup from last year except for Nick McGlynn, and lost about 80% of their team's total production. Then on top of that, they lost their best player, grad-transfer Nick Norton, halfway into first MVC conference game, which they ended up losing in double overtime to Evansville. Despite that, they have rebounded to win 8 of their last 11 games and are now tied for 2nd just 1 game behind Loyola. A remarkable job by Drake and Coach DeVries.
Dana Ford is also in his first season at Missouri State. They were 7-11 in the MVC last year, and now are 8-5 so far this season. They lost 4 of their top 5 players from last season, and other than a 9 ppg starter (Jarred Dixon) and a 5 ppg reserve (Ryan Kreklow), Ford basically recruited an entirely new team despite not being named to the job until late March of 2018. Yet they are also 8-5 and now tied for 2nd place with Drake, just a game behind Loyola. Really impressive.
