Loyola comes from behind to win at Valparaiso 56-51. Valpo went cold and scored only one basket in the final 7:41 of the game, and that came with just 3 seconds left and the game already decided.

And Illinois State is the victim of another miracle finish. recall that earlier in the season, Valpo beat them with a 3/4 court heave at the buzzer. Today, they had the game won at Missouri State but a turnover in the final seconds and a half court shot by Jarred Dixon at the buzzer gave MSU the 66-65 home win-

Illinois State lead the entire 2nd half, and took a 63-58 lead with 23 seconds left. Then after a missed shot by Jarred Dixon, ISU fumbled away the rebound and Josh Webster of MSU recovered it and made a shot to cut the lead to 63-60. Then after 2 ISU FTs, the Redbirds took a 65-60 lead with 13 seconds left.
On MSU's next possession, Josh Webster made a shot and amazingly, Phil Fayne fouled him. He made the FT to cut the lead to 65-63 with 7 seconds left. Then on the inbounds pass, Matt Chastain turned the ball over at mid-court. There was a scrum for the ball that killed a couple seconds. MSU's Jarred Dixon ended up with the ball and launched it from half court. It banked in for the miracle 66-65 MSU win. An amazing finish.

amazing - ISU did everything conceivable to give that game away at the end...even tho they shoot over 50% even on 3's!
and once again - they get production from just 3 guys...
Two starters gave them nothing - Chastain played 30 minutes - just 2 pts/2 reb then Evans 33 min & just 4 pts.
But give Missouri State credit - if you give a good team 2nd or 3rd chances - or even just a tiny opening to make a comeback - a good team will do it
