As great as it is to see Bradley play well and win their last 2 games, and as much as we enjoy the success this past week, we now face perhaps the toughest stretch of the schedule. The next 3 games are a home game against the 1st place team Loyola, and then back to back road games at Illinois State and Drake who are tied for 2nd place. Bradley did beat Loyola last season in Peoria, but they now seem to be playing as well as they have all season. And the last time Bradley won against ISU in Normal was a 70-62 win on Feb. 3, 2007, over 12 years ago. That is 11 straight losses at Redbird Arena.
And Bradley has won only 1 of their last 8 games at the Knapp Center on the Drake campus. Bradley won there in Coach Wardle's 2nd season (an 82-74 Bradley win on 2/25/17) when Donte Thomas had his career high of 22 points plus 12 rebounds. Drake was the last place team in the MVC that season leading Ray Giacoletti to step down as head coach part way into the season.
So which Bradley team will show up these next 3 games? Go BU!

This was the first time we got to see former Bradley recruit De'Avion Washington up close...
The Indiana State freshman who Bradley pursued and hosted at a couple home games - played 15 minutes Saturday (about his avg) and scored 2 pts.
He has a big guard body - 6-3 and very muscular, but he does not handle the ball well and does not possess a good outside shot at this time but could improve.
He is averaging 2.5 ppg in 21 games, hitting 32% overall and 25% from the arc, and only 2 rpg.
