      Thanks DC!

With 16 points on Wed., he will surpass Walt Lemon Jr. at #7!
That would be a huge accomplishment - means he is the highest scorer in this millenium!

      Go DB Jr!

It seems almost certain Darrell will finish 6th or possibly 5th on the all-time list, as we projected before this season.
Bradley has at least 7 games left (6 regular season and at least 1 tournament game). If Darrell continues with his current scoring average (14.8 ppg) and the Braves play 7 more games, DB would add about 100 more points. That would push him up to 6th place. But if Bradley plays more than 7 more games, or if Darrell has a couple more games like last night with 20+ points, his career total would push him past Paul Unruh and into 5th place.
4th place appears out of reach. He'd need 270 more points to reach Chet Walker at 4th.

Darrell Brown's 13 points Wednesday (2/12) raises his career total to 1,718 and he moved past Voise Winters into 8th place. He is now just 3 points behind Walt Lemon and will almost certainly pass Walt and move into 7th place.

Darrell Brown is also moving up the list of all-time career 3-pointers. He has 38 three pointers this season for a career total of 212. He is now #5 on the all-time Bradley career 3-pointer list (see lists prior to this season below).

Nate Kennell is also moving up the all-time Bradley career scoring and 3-pointer lists.
Nate's 11 points Wednesday now gives him 1,131 career points, which now ranks 36th on the all-time scoring list. Darrell Brown is #9 on the all-time scoring list.

Nate also had three 3-pointers in Wednesday's game, and that gives him 233 career 3-pointers, and ties him for #2 with his cousin Aaron Zobrist, who played for Jim Molinari (1993-97). Jeremy Crouch is the #1 all-time leader in career 3-pointers with 262 from 2004-08. Nate would have to average 4 or more three pointers a game to catch Jeremy Crouch, so that seems unlikely. But Nate will end up as #2 on the all-time list.

Darrell Brown's 9 points gave him 1,727 for his career and were enough to move him past Walt Lemon, Jr. and into 7th place all-time (see above list from the start of this season). Darrell had one 3-pointer which now gives him 213 for his career. He still ranks 5th all-time, but still has a chance to reach 5th or possibly 4th on the list before the end of his career.

Nate Kennell had 13 points to raise his career total to 1,144. That moves his past Seymour Reed and into 35th place on the all-time career scoring list.
Nate's three 3-pointers moved him out of a tie with Aaron Zobrist and into 2nd place by himself with 236 career 3-pointers. He is unlikely to catch Jeremy Crouch for 1st.

Darrell Brown's 19 points tonight (2/19/20) boosts his career total to 1,746. He remains in 7th place all-time but within striking distance (16 points) of #6 Joe Allen's 1,763.
Nate Kennell's 9 points increase his career total to 1,140, moving him past Seymour Reed into 35th place.

I know I started this thread last season, and not to take anything away from the 2 super seniors, but I think we have a guy (Ville) who will end up passing Nate on the All-time 3-point shooting list (total makes and %) when all is said and done!

Great 2nd half by both DB and Nate though!

With Ville shooting 3-4 from three point last night, he is now 33-81 on the season for 40.7%.
But even more amazing for the freshman, he started the season just 2-22, including a stretch where he missed 15 in a row.
Since that 2-22 start, Ville has shot 31-59 for 52.5%.

Anyone feel DB can catch and pass Unruh? Or is it just me? Guaranteed 4 games left. Would need to average 19 ppg in 4 remaining guaranteed games @ Valpo @ISU and vs LUC and 1 in STL. Thoughts??

I feel like we're much more interested or hopeful than DB is...he is all about doing whatever he can to help the team.
I think this season it's become very evident that winning games is much more important to him than any personal accolades or boosting numbers.

That's why he's one of the greats I've ever seen in 25 years as a devoted Braves fan.

I think he's got a really good shot the way he's been playing since Eli came back.
                          Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

If Bradley only plays 4 more games, it seems like a bit of a longshot. He needs 76 more points to tie Paul Unruh, so as you say, he'd need to average 19.0 ppg.
If Bradley wins on Friday in St. Louis and plays a 5th game, he'd need to average 15.2 ppg over those final 5 games. He has averaged 14.7 ppg through the 26 games he's played, so that's certainly a possibility.
If Bradley wins their first 2 and makes it to the championship game, he'd need to average 12.7 ppg, a far more do-able number.
And if Bradley plays beyond the MVC Tournament, it becomes more likely he will do it.
So it really comes down to how many more games Bradley will play.

Thank you for adding that DC. I was going to dig deeper and add those other scenarios, but my superstition got the best of me. I decided to leave it at the guaranteed games. It will be a great sub-plot for us to follow as this season plays out.

Congrats to DB Jr. for passing BU great Joe Allen at the #6 spot in BU hoops lore (All-time scoring list).
With 17 points vs our beloved Redbird rivals (ha ha), Darrell has amassed 1,777 career points at Bradley.
WOW! How steady has he been all 4 seasons...not many steadier than DB.

He is gonna be MISSED a lot. What a great representative of Bradley hoops and a stellar example of how to work hard and let your actions do the talking.
His unselfish play this season speaks volumes of his willingness to exchange numbers and accolades for the what's best for the TEAM. And even still, his numbers are pretty dang impressive!
