Stuckey played 2 seasons for Bradley under Stan Albeck, 1989-90 and 1990-91. He inherited the former Hersey Hawkins role in Albeck's "pro turnout" offense, and thus was the primary scoring option and he was very successful at it. Stuckey averaged 23.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg his junior season (1989-90) and 25.1 ppg and 5.1 rpg his senior season (1990-91). His career scoring average of 24.5 ppg is the all time highest career scoring average in Bradley history! Chet Walker is 2nd at 24.4 ppg, and Hersey Hawkins is 3rd at 24.1 ppg-

I think that location was previously "Coneys" but has been closed a couple years - it is also right near the prior location of Double A's Pizza.
I wish him success - a lot of restaurants on that short stretch of Willow Knolls between Allen Rd. and Sam's Club - have come & gone..

Double-A's did well in that general location, and moved to a bigger building. And there is a high density population in the area, so I think he can be successful. Hope so...
Here is a link to the menu- prices are reasonable-

I finally had a chance to stop and eat at former Bradley star Curtis Stuckey's restaurant, Ballers, on Willow Knolls Road near Sam's Club.
It is not a "sit-down" type restaurant. In fact, you don't actually enter the restaurant, you order from a window in the front (or they also have a drive through lane), and then you can choose to take the food with you, eat in your car, or eat at one of the picnic tables set up outside the restaurants.

I got to meet Curtis Stuckey's son who was manning the restaurant today. He was a friendly guy. I had the chicken tenders and my wife had the catfish filet sandwich. They also have several wing options, hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, wraps, and side dishes at a reasonable price. The chicken tenders were large, and I thought they were quite good. I also had a bite of the catfish, and it was also great. So much for my restaurant review, but I'd suggest giving the restaurant a try if you are anywhere near Willow Knolls Road.

They won judge's choice and were probably the most popular booth of about 14 at Wingfest on the Riverfront. Their line was by far the longest and the wings were amazing. Castaways was probably 2nd.
