Evansville holds on at home and breaks their 4-game losing streak to beat a fading Valparaiso team 64-53, and they pull ahead of Bradley.
OTOH, Valpo who started the MVC season 5-1, has now lost their last 4 games.

Drake comes from behind to win on the road at Indiana State 68-62. Drake has now won 5 of their last 6 MVC games.
Indiana State has now lost 5 of their last 6. Jordan Barnes is still struggling with his shooting. He was just 4-15 from the floor

Jordan Barnes was a preseason 1st team All MVC pick. He was averaging 21 ppg, shooting 45% overall and 50.0% from three through their non-conference games.
However, in their 10 MVC games, his numbers have dropped dramatically to an average of just 11.7 ppg, 33.3% overall, and just 21.4% from three. Indiana State is now 3-7 and tied with Bradley for last place in the MVC.

Until Lansing figures out that Barnes is not his best player on the floor and gets Barnes to realize and accept that fact the Sycamores will continue to flounder. His shot attempts especially in the last couple of games are atrocious. He needs to accept a supporting role that is the KEY.
